Tootsa MacGinty is an inventive, colourful and adventurous unisex clothing brand for children, set up by designer Kate Pietrasik who was tired of gendered clothes for children. Children love them, as do parents who can pass the hard wearing clothes onto siblings and friends.
The Tootsa MacGinty AW14 collection, ‘A Mountain Adventure’, takes children on a magical journey to the mountains of Asia. Inspired by vibrant colours like different shades of green and berry that are found in the traditional textiles, the collection is brought to life with a variety of mountain dwelling animals that children will adore. The range includes the softest, itch-free lambs wool knits in stunning jacquard patterns and charming pandas appear as repeat prints on tops and leggings whilst denim is detailed with colourful embroidered trim on the cuffs.
