I feel like I should have done a little bit more research when Alexander outgrew his crib. Just after we got him a bigger bed I came across the Rafa Kids R toddler bed.
Agata and Arek Seredyn, from The Netherlands, originally created the bed for their eldest son, but decided to branch out into furniture-making when it drew so many comments, and requests for similar beds, from their friends.
The R toddler bed is a bed that encourages the child’s independence and also stimulates his growth through play. Rafa Kids not only thinks of a bed as a place to sleep but also as a challenging and beautiful element of his room. The wheels give it that playful look.
If you have siblings you can combine the R toddler bed with the F bunk bed and still the toddler bed can be moved around (wheels) and you can use the space under the bunk for other purposes.

All the beds are made in Poland from European Birch plywood and finished in non-toxic Scandinavian water-based lacquers.
