From early 2013, MOTORETA creates a lifestyle for children with an urban, and sophisticated meaning. A delicate and personal brand based and produced in the south of Spain, created by the architects Cristina López-Lago and Maria Llerena.
Today we are happy to present you the Motoreta AW16 collection called “Standing Mobile” which is all about movement, about being changeable in appearance or mood but at the same time captivating the always curious child’s mind.
This season’s shapes and prints are inspired by Alexander Calder’s work. They follow the natural form of a plant, or a rock and are then combined with geometries and colours. The result is catchy vintage flower prints and abstract graphics.
In Motoreta’s AW16 collection we see cozy textured knitted garments and soft fabrics including their iconic silhouettes and shapes. Blue, navy, black, brown, white, stripes, dots, geometries and organic forms to celebrate what changes and what stays the same in a child’s life.
