I’m a believer that children will always find ways to have fun.
I’ve read many articles on how many in the Western world fear that technology is making today’s children lose touch with nature and with their own creativity, and while there are arguments to be made for the intellectual stimulation that apps and programs for children can bring, there’s also something to be said for simply playing with a stick in the mud or chasing dandelion seeds though an open meadow and nurturing the imagination of children.
Emily Kornya took the train to a village 30 min from Paris yesterday, to visit Melchior and Cleophee, two friends whom we met through the Les enfants a Paris playdates. They wanted to share their favourite playground with us… The poppyfields behind their house..
Isn’t it beautiful?!
Their wild imaginations and magical childhood moments, when captured on camera by talented photographers like Emily Kornya, can make for truly wonderful photos don’t you think?!
