Little10Days is an Amsterdam based label designed for children aged two to twelve years old. As always, their collection is timeless, wearable, cool without overdoing it and all products are easy to combine.
Time for an interview with Barbara Hilbrink, Designer & Founder of little10days
How would you describe your brand?
10days stands for comfort, freedom and good quality and lots of love!! At the same time the styles, details, colours and unexpected combinations create a refreshing image. It also comes from my own point of view, in that it’s stuff I would like to wear it myself so not too childish. At the same time I want the clothes to give that feeling ‘I want to eat my children’ they look that great!
The designs being practical is another important aspect. Not too many details, being able to combine everything together, even the seasons. Fathers are also at the back of my mind, they are often the ones who find it hard to dress their children. With little10days thats easy peasy!

Suave pants!
Do you have children? How does that influence your work?
I have two boys and a girl. They are my muses. Before little10days I was already buying jerseys & sweats. If I would find the right jogger I would get 7, one for every day of the week, haha. Same for my daughter, a sweatdress in several colours, leggings and we’re ready to go. Even very practical for dads! And damn they look great! On top of that, its so comfortable, they don’t want to wear stiff sitting clothes. Who does?!
What are the most rewarding and most challenging aspects of your job?
Every season we keep surprising ourselves with new designs, that’s something that’s very important to me. But at the same time I don’t want to lose the identity of the brand and stay close to myself.
How would you describe your own personal style?
Comfort, sporty & unexpected.
