One of my favourite photographers, Isa Battaglin from Lilly K Photography is coming to Europe in June.
Isa Battaglin is a Los Angeles based children’s fashion, commercial and portrait photographer who has worked with some of our friends, like our American friends Misty & Riley for example.
Born and raised in Brazil, Isa began traveling at a very young age and always had an eye for the creative and an interest in photography. With the intention of capturing beautiful family moments, Isa began honing her photographic and editing skills while studying photography in school whilst also working professional.
In 2002 Isa founded Lilly K. Photography and began working as a newborn photographer. She quickly discovered her passion for photographing children and has been successfully working in this market for over 10 years.
Personally I think she is doing a great job and she manages to capture some amazing, naturally looking, poses of children. And I’ve heard from close friends that she is lovely to work with as well!
“As soon as a child meets her for their portrait, she gets down to their level. She squats, sits, kneels, whatever it takes to make them look into her face. She then introduces herself and asks them about themselves, what they like, their favorite joke, [things like that], to make them super comfortable with her.“
Isa now has a clientele portfolio spanning the USA and regularly works in NYC, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and Miami. She, her husband and three children live in Los Angeles, California.
During her trip she’ll be visiting Paris and Amsterdam, and will be offering exclusive Individual Headshot / Lifestyle Sessions!
