Today we are proud to be exclusively premiering the Larmes de Crocodile SS14 collection with this teaser video.
Larmes de Crodile is the brand of Meryl Flamb, whom used to write a weekly blog for Les enfants a Paris. A brand where the tongue in cheek humor of children is the focus. Tough edgy texts and prints… “My SS14 inspiration comes from space! I made a collection for galactics cosmonauts!”
The SS14 collection will be available by the end of this month…
Time for an interview with Meryl!
How would you describe your brand?
Its a modern brand I guess. A brand which is fun, rock and audacious!
I get my inspiration directly from kids so they can recognize themselves in my prints. And that gives smile to parents!
What is the inspiration behind your SS14 collection?
My SS14 inspiration comes from space! I made a collection for galactics cosmonauts!
What is your favorite piece from the collection?
My favorite piece is the print which said “This school was too small for both of us (I had to tell it to the sheriff)” of course the Sheriff is Mummy!
Do you have children? How does that influence your work?
I don’t have children for now. But I’m a grown kid! When I draw my prints I think like a child so they feel connected to my T-shirts.
What are the most rewarding and most challenging aspects of your job?
I think its to adapt to the thoughts of children. I wanna say its to find the collection theme but its not true cause Kids are an inexhaustible source!
How would you describe your own personal style?
My style is a mix between sportswear, rock and trendy I guess. I really like to be comfortable in my clothes.
Where can our readers buy your brand?
You can buy Larmes de Crocodile only on my website for now. And sometimes I participate in creator’s shows. To keep in touch go on my Facebook Page 😉
