I really love online shopping. It’s convenient, you can find things you’d never have time to hunt down in a store and it’s open twenty-four hours! But every so often you come across something that has to be seen and felt to be fully appreciated. Such is the case with La Princesse au Petit Pois.
La Princesse au Petit Pois is stocked full of gorgeous children’s clothes (and pieces for mummy!) that have the perfect amount of vintage charm, chic in a way, with muted colours.
The SS16 collection is inspired by old school vintage fashion – pretty florals, ruffled bloomers and overalls – traditional silhouettes combined with sweet details. But on seeing and feeling the clothing, it’s all about the fabrics.
All of the clothing is handmade using cotton and linen (linen clothing is as light as a feather!) in Alexandra’s workshop in Montpellier. These clothes are made to last and potentially be handed down for generations to come.
La Princesse au Petit Pois, founded by Alexandra Darcissac, has been around for over 20 years!
So go ahead, open up La Princesse au Petit Pois here.
