Munich is a great city to explore for young and old, and there are many fun things to do for children. From interactive museums, and toy stores, to parks, farmers markets, and even beer gardens! Its city center is very pedestrian-friendly, with lots of parks and pedestrian squares where cildren can run freely.
Emily Kornya, who currently lives in this wonderful city, took her friends Fabiana, Rebecca, Michela, Gabriele, Bianca and Lorenzo to The Königsplatz (“King’s Square), one of her favourite squares in Munich. It was modeled after the Acropolis in Athens and is the most beautiful classic square in Munich. It is a sign for the family ties of King Otto from Greece and the Wittelsbacher family from Bavaria and was built by King Ludwig I. and his architect Leo van Klenze. (Read more about the The Königsplatz here.)
