I’ve had my eye on Jane Foster’s designs for a while now, after first spotting her work via Instagram. Bright, bold, happy screen printed textiles with a strong retro vibe that will appeal to children and mummies alike.
UK based mum Jane, has a real eye for styles from the 50′s and 60′s and this shows through in her work. Soft toys, nursery room art and some home wares too. I’m a big fan of the handmade softies especially the alphabet doggie and the one with numbers. Soft toys they may be, but they double up as cool decorative pillows too.
An interesting twist, some of Jane’s designs come in do it yourself kits like ‘Make your own cats’. The kit contains fabric to make the 6 small cats (kittens) along with a set of instructions, and are easy enough to make with or without a sewing machine.
And did you see those beautiful screen prints?! Aren’t they stunning?
