Anne-Claire Petit, a designer from Holland, studied industrial design in Eindhoven and began her career as a designer for the well-known brand Esprit. After a couple of years at this international label it was time to bring her inspiration and creativity to a higher level. She began her own label and after a successful shawl collection she then changed to creating her own children’s line.
Anne-Claire Petit specializes in beautiful crochet toys. And no, crochet is not for old people! Anne-Claire Petit has totally won me over with these charming toys that are made using traditional handiwork techniques in Asia. They’re free of chemical ingredients and are made from natural ingredients like ecologically grown cotton. The phrase ‘everything old is new again’ perfectly describes the current comeback in crocheted and knitted children’s items. These beautiful toys fit very nicely into the classic category, and as we all know….. Classic never goes out of Style.
